Q: Do you do eye tests?
A: No. By eliminating the option of onsite eye tests, we are able to reduce the cost of spectacles. Due to years of habit and routine, most people still do not realise that when you have your eye test you can take the prescription with you.

Fact: Your optician must legally give you a copy of your prescription. This way you can make your own choice as to where you purchase your spectacles. This applies to your NHS eye care vouchers which you are also entitled to.

Q. Can you put new lenses into my own frames?
A. Yes. While we stock a large and unique variety of frames, we appreciate that some of our customers like to use their own frame, and we do not apply a reglaze charge.

Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A. No. Feel free to just pop in. Although we do not operate an appointment system, we are a small family business and there are occasions when we can be busy. If you require a ‘while you wait’ service it may be advisable to call prior to visiting.

Q. Do you supply safety spectacles?
A. Yes. We have a selection of safety spectacle frames to choose from. Simply visit us with the relevant paperwork from your employer/company and we will place your order. Alternatively, we can supply them privately.

Q. Do you accept Vouchers?
A. Yes. We accept NHS and workplace eye care vouchers.
